Thursday, November 13

We had a grand breakfast after getting up late. Ahhhhh. The dining room over at the Beckenkohler is really fabulous. After that, we went for a walk in the wold.
It was quiet, serene, colorful and very, very peaceful.

We had a peaceful walk in the wood.

We even got to see "The holly and the ivy"!

The rest of the day was spent waiting in the clinic, getting weighed and measured in the metric system, filling out menu requests, picking out a bed (the window was taken, but we hope she leaves quickly), talking with the doctor (who said two discs would be replaced as the lowest had self-fused), heparin shot, and the coup de gras, a loverly enema. Next steps, gingerly going to the restaurant, getting a table near the loo, and enjoying a glass of wine before the sleeping pill. (Yes, all with doctor's permission...in fact, recommendation!) Check in tomorrow at 11:00 AM, surgery at 2:00 PM. That's midnight, Alaska time!

Hello Roz,

You are in my thoughts and prayers.
How nice for you and John... meeting so many wonderful people and they feel like "family".

Yeah! The day has finally come to fix that back.

Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him. Ps. 62:5

Praying,

Sheri
